Edsel Ford’s Winter Concert

It is difficult to find, nowadays, a person who doesn’t like music, and Edsel Ford students are no exception! Our very own Winter Concert is coming up soon, which will feature our instrumental classes—band and orchestra—taught by Mrs. Broekhuizen, as well as our choir taught by Edsel’s new choral director, Mr. Kelm.

Edsel Ford’s Winter Concert will take place on December 15th at 7pm. Our orchestra will be playing a rendition of Vivaldi’s Winter; furthermore, our band will be performing a variety of Christmas songs, and our choir will be singing classic German carols. Finally, the orchestra and band will put on a performance together! All groups have worked hard to put on a wonderful performance, so be sure to catch it next week Thursday at 7 pm!

Coming up from the Theatre Department: Edsel Ford’s Spring Musical – Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Audition dates are next week, Monday through Wednesday—December 12th, 13th, and 14th—from 3:30 to 6:30 pm. Talk to Mr. Kelm to get more information, and sign up on the board outside of the choir room if you want to audition.
