If you answered , you may have the talents needed for our school’s Quiz Bowl. 

The Edsel Ford High School Quiz Bowl Club is sponsored by Herr Sedore and meets on Tuesdays from 3 to 4 PM. Herr Sedore says, “Quiz Bowl is all about having fun and answering trivia questions.’’ The club has been around since 2018 and has been growing since, yet the Quiz Bowl team has only been to one tournament since its foundation in 2018. However, that tournament was promising as the team was very close to beating Catholic Central.

The team hopes to compete in another tournament, but there will need to be strong membership. Some of the questions that stump the current team are on the topics of literature and music, so if you geek out on both, Herr Sedore highly encourages you to join Quiz Bowl. I think anyone who decides to join will love the club just as much as I do. We have a nice sponsor-teacher, and you get to meet some wonderful people and build friendships that will last a lifetime.  

Mackenna Shaw, a member of the Quiz Bowl Club, said the things she enjoys are “…meeting new people and the friendly competition.’’ She has always liked trivia related games, and Herr Sedore is her favorite teacher; it’s a win-win.

The group’s first tournament is Saturday, February 25th at Grand Ledge High School. Come support the Thunderbirds!
