Edsel Ford boys met with the Allen Park Jaguars at home for an entertaining game. Despite a tough first half, the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds showed grit and determination. The first quarter saw them trailing 11-20, with the Jaguars taking an early lead. By halftime, Edsel was down 31-45, but they came out of the break with renewed energy.
The team rallied in the fourth quarter, closing the gap to just 2 points, proving their resilience and ability to fight back. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, the comeback slipped away, and Allen Park held on for a 49-61 win. A key player who made a significant impact on the court was junior Abdulla Saleh, #5. Edsel’s number 5 scored 20 points and was a top performer alongside junior Wesam Alsubari, #3, with 11 points, and senior Omar Omar, #12, with 15 points.
