Meeting Ms. O’Brien

Meeting Ms. OBrien

Jason Cadoura, Junior Writer

As you might have noticed Ms. O’Brien has returned to Edsel Ford High School. Ms. O’Brien wanted to come back to Edsel Ford because she really missed the high schoolers. When asked what piece of advice she would give to students to be successful in high school, she replied that you should “always be patient and be kind with your friends.” Ms. O’Brien’s favorite part about teaching at Edsel Ford is the impact she can make on the general education students, along with the special education students.

If Ms. O’Brien could describe the class she co-teaches, it would be the word “calm” because Ms. Petersmarck and her are great co-teachers. She currently coaches volleyball and basketball. Ms. O’Brien’s favorite sport to play is soccer because she likes to be outside. Ms. O’Brien’s favorite book is A Court of Thorns and Roses because it’s a fantasy book that also contains romance. She has three pets: a cat named Zeus, and two dogs named Gracie and Luna. In her free time, she likes to read and lay in bed with her cat. Before becoming a teacher, Ms. O’Brien wanted to become a chef. If you see Ms. O’Brien in the hallway, welcome her back!
